TRIBUTE TO SPORT by D&G

Dolce&Gabbana have always been big supporters of sports. Soccer players and swimmers were used as the face of their recent underwear campaigns. The Italian designers further their brand’s sports involvement by becoming the official Name Sponsor of a sports club, the Dolce&Gabbana Milano Thunder Italian Boxing Team, a first for them.
“For the first time a sporting team will carry our name, this is the beginning of a new adventure for us, but also the start of a new responsibility,” explained the designers. “Boxing is a sport which requires discipline, willpower and courage: values we firmly believe in and that we try to pour into everything we do. With this project we want to emphasize once more the importance sports have for us, both as a source of inspiration for our creativity and as very effective vehicle for healthy, real, down-to-earth values.”

Dolce & Gabbana sono da sempre grandi sostenitori di sport.  
Calciatori e nuotatori sono stati usati come testimonial delle loro campagne di biancheria intima recente.  
I designer italiani hanno inoltre il coinvolgimento dello per sport il loro marchio, diventando il nome ufficialedi un club sportivo, il Dolce & Gabbana Milano Thunder Boxing Team italiano, una prima assoluta per loro."Per la prima volta una squadra sportiva porterà il nostro nome, questo è l'inizio di una nuova avventura per noi, ma anche l'inizio di una nuova responsabilità", hanno spiegato i designer. 
 "La boxe è uno sport che richiede disciplina, forza di volontà e coraggio: i valori crediamo fermamente e che cerchiamo di versare in tutto ciò che facciamo.

Con questo progetto vogliamo sottolineare ancora una volta l'importanza dello sport hanno per noi, sia come fonte di ispirazione per la nostra creatività e del veicolo molto efficace per un sano, reale, con i piedi per terra-valori ".
